We had a delightful two night stay at the lovely Ventana. If we could have, we would have stayed longer which speaks volumes. The property lived up to our expectations, the staff was INCREDIBLE, especially Kim in dining and all of the valets. The staff which checked us in were also most helpful. The only complaint we had was the dinner menu. It didn't change the second night and unfortunately we do not appreciate Asian cuisine. Desserts were not great either. Breakfast was great and the lunch by the pool upon arrival was very good. Our room was very accommodating and we loved the amenities, Nespresso machine, soaking tub and shower. Ample space and so nice looking out at the forest. We enjoyed the hot tubs and the trails right on the property were amazing.

I love this property. The front desk receptionist on arrival should not be doing her job. Poor communication skills and pretty much no service at all. Check out reception lady was completely difference and extremely helpful. Overall I think the property needs to re-evaluate it's signage as it's difficult to find one's way around. Part of the charm I guess, but a few more directional signs would be an improvement
